I have a quote on my wall by Marianne Williamson that reads:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I believe when people are doing something they love, they glow this radiant beam of happiness glory. It's a blinding light, a warming feeling, something so abstract, yet so tangible.
As I begin this new journey with Thistle Bee The Florist, I cannot help but glow. Perhaps that is what I love about working with brides the most; they have this radiating glow of happiness that everyone can feel. Much like my new journey, they too are stepping out into uncharted territory with confidence and faith.
I am humbled and gracious to be supported by so many people and brides. I am excited to see what this year has in store for me and this company. Even though I'll be reaching for the stars, I won't forget the flowers at my feet .
Much love and happiness ~KH
